Termidor® Termite Protection
All Guard Pest Control uses termite protection with Termidor and its unique
transfer effect
Until the last few years, pest control firms have been forced to rely on
products that primarily act as repellent barriers around buildings. In these
situations, termites may not be killed and will continue to search for a means
to avoid the barrier and attack the structure.
Newer, less toxic protection has evolved with products that are not detected by
termites and do not rely on repellence, allowing for more effective treatments
to be applied. These new methods have culminated in the release of TERMIDOR with
its unique 'Transfer Effect'.
Recent development in the termite control market has seen a number of products
released that cannot be detected by termites as they forage for new food
sources. These include a range of new products being used as protection around
buildings, applied either in the form of a liquid spray or as a baiting system.
By not being detected, these products are given the maximum opportunity to do
their job - that is to kill termites and protect the home.
Termite Protection From Professionals
At All Guard Pest Control, our professional pest control operators have the
knowledge, the experience, the materials, and the equipment to protect your home
against termites.
Temidor termite treatments have been a reliable method of treatment over the
past decade. By applying a termite barrier under and around the structure's
foundation, subterranean termites are denied entry and forced to seek other food
sources or starve. Coupled with the newer foam and baiting technologies,
conventional treatments can provide years of protection against subterranean
termite infestations.
Termidor® Termite Control Termites tunnelling in higher concentration treated soil areas abutting the
building, are killed outright, within a few hours. Termites tunnelling in the
outer reaches of a Termidor (lower concentration) treated soil area, cannot
detect the chemical which readily sticks to the termites' body. These termites
remain unaffected for a few days, before sudden death occurs.
Based on the USA and Australian field trials and laboratory testing, a treated
soil barrier should remain termite control effective for at least 5 years, in
most situations, if it is correctly applied at the rate required by the
registered label. This means long term protection of a kind not able to be
offered by any alternative termite colony baiting system.
